Hello, and welcome to the Moorabbin Unit Victoria State Emergency Service web site.
This site has been set up to assist, educate, and provide links for you to gain knowledge of VICSES activities, and how you can prepare yourself for most eventualities at your home or work place.
Moorabbin SES Unit is one of 145 volunteer staffed Units around Victoria, who are responsible for combating storm damage, flood response, and also dealing with manmade and natural disasters within Victoria.
We are a volunteer based professional Emergency Service who also provide regular support to other professional emergency services, commonly Victoria Police, in the form of search and rescue, crime scene assistance, and some road incidents.
We are always looking for community minded citizens who wish to commit to regular and ongoing training, and provide assistance in the community in times of adverse weather and at odd hours of the night and day.
